Lulwah Al Homoud is an award-winning Saudi artist and curator whose work bridges heritage and innovation, exploring spirituality, script, and abstraction. Her art is held in major collections worldwide, including the British Museum, LACMA, Jeju Museum, and Islamic Arts Museum in Malasia. She has exhibited internationally and featured in top auctions such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s.
The first Saudi to earn an MA from Central Saint Martins, London, Al Homoud has curated landmark exhibitions including Master Strokes (October Gallery, 2003), Nabatt: A Sense of Being (Shanghai & Beirut, 2010), and Contrasts in Harmony (Misk Art Week, 2019). She co-curated the Saudi exhibition at UNESCO Headquarters, Paris, and has collaborated with institutions like the British Museum, ArtCurial, AlUla, and Saudi cultural commissions.
Recipient of the Rawabi Prize (London, 2020) and the Saudi National Award for Visual Arts (2021), she is the founder of LAH Art Foundation and ISDAR, supporting Saudi artists and cultural exchange. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Art and Design Society and as Deputy at the National Committee for Cultural Activities.
Through her practice, Al Homoud continues to champion art as a universal language that connects cultures and elevates the human spirit.
